Are there downspouts on the door canopies?
We have a support post that acts as a downspout. See product under Accessories.
Does Designtak have any showrooms where I can see the door canopies and if they do where can I find them?
Designtak has showrooms where you find our door canopies. Our showrooms are located in Sweden, Denmark and Åland. Feel free to contact us in the contact form and we will tell you more.
Is it possible for me to get customized measurements on my door canopy?
Yes, it is possible. Write the door canopy you are interested in and your measurements in the contact form and we will get back to you about any additional costs.
Do I need a building permit to install Designtak’s door canopies?
Normally, there is no need for a building permit but there are exceptions.
Which side should the water run-off be on?
The water run-off is determined when you are standing outside looking at your entrance. We recommend you to have the water run-off at the same side your front door hinges are at.
Can I have color samples?
Yes, you can. Write the colors you are interested in and your address in the contact form and we will send you the color samples.
Is it possible for me to order my door canopy in a color that is not on Designtak’s website?
Yes you can. Write the color you are interested in, in the contact form and we will get back to you about any additional costs.
Can I get options choosing which color I want on the soffit?
Yes, you can for an additional cost.
Is it possible to choose the color of the lamps in the soffit?
The colors we offer on the lamps are white, silver and black.
Do fastening screws come with?
No, it does not. Fastening screws do not come with because there is different types of fastening screws that are needed depending on what type of wall you have. Ask your hardware store what kind of fastening screws you need for your wall.
Do I have warranty on my door canopy?
There is warranty against sustainability and manufacturing defects all according to ABM-07. Feel free to read more about our warranty here.
Does Designtak have their own fitters?
No, we do not but it should be easy to find a fitter locally.
